Jenny Sarah Slate (born March 25, 1982) is an American comedian, actress, voice artist and author best known for her role as Donna Stern in Obvious Child. She is the co-creator of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, a series of short films about a talking seashell outfitted with an Oobi eye and a pair of doll shoes. She has also written two children's storybooks. Slate voices Gidget in The Secret Life of Pets, Assistant Mayor Dawn Bellwether in Zootopia and Harley Quinn in The Lego Batman Movie. She was married to Dean Fleischer-Camp from 2012 to 2016.
