Jafar's Renmant
In Kingdom Hearts III: Reconnect, Jafar is resurrected as a Renmant, a nobody with half a heart grown back, by Mozenrath in order to use the powers of the Hand of Midas to steal the world heart of Agrabah. Although Mozenrath is defeated by Sora, Jafar manages to escape by summoning the other half of his heart, his Heartless snake, to distract our heroes. For the rest of the game, Jafar serves Maleficent loyally...or so it seems. Inside his being, Jafar's sniveling bootlicking exterior is just a facade to hide the menacing, power-hungry schemer that desperately desires to take over leadership of the Villains Vale Alliance. To do so, he conspires with Emperor Zurg and Queen La to destroy Maleficent and her loyalist flunkies. However, this proves to be his undoing when Master Xehanort and two of his vessels, Braig and Vanitas, arrive to kill off most of the Villains Vale to collect their hearts as sacrifices to power the X-blade, with Jafar being one of those sacrifices. Jafar, being a nobody Renmant, has command over the Illusionist and Wraith Nobodies.
