Jaeger Stars is a third-person MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game developed and distributed by Capcom, released in March 2018

Jaeger Stars has a team match with two rival teams consisting of six players each. Players can choose one of several heroes, each with their own skills and class function. The three main roles of characters include: Fighters, who have short-range blows, Snipers, who have long-range blows, Support, responsible for healing injured allies, and Tank, which have a large amount of armor and hit points for resist attacks and draw enemy fire away from your teammates. As soon as they die, players can switch between characters during the game, which is encouraged by the game's design. The game's maps are as much real-life places (like Central Park, Great Wall of China) as absurd and fanciful places (like other planets, Hell and even an alternative material plane).

The game has four game modes, including an attack and escort hybrid:

Attack: The attacking team is charged with capturing two objective points on the map, while the defensive team must stop them.

Escort to Gil: The attacking team is in charge of escorting a cargo to a certain delivery point before time runs out, while the defense team must stop them. The charge moves along a fixed path when any player on the attacking team is near it.

Attack / Escort: The attacking team has to capture the cargo and take it to its destination, while the defensive team tries to stop them.

Control: Each team tries to capture and secure a common goal, until the capture percentage reaches 100%. This game mode takes place in a best-of-three format, the team that wins two rounds first wins

In the not-so-distant future, there are Battle Busters, Battle Busters are carriers of superpowers, using their superpower (or employing powerful objects). This is just 10% of the population that lives on Earth, with the remaining 90% being unable to have superpowers. They are often associated with a guild, where they can take on jobs as a source of personal income and adventure, they cannot be considered in their own right until they join a guild of their own choosing. There are three main types of Battle Busters: Legal, Dark and Independent.
