J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai will be adapted into a shounen action-adventure anime season by Toei, at an unknown date. It is based on the live action 1970's Super Sentai Series season of the same name. A Hasbro dub/live action adaptation will be called PR: Hearts and Spades (because the suits are based on playing card designs).
Unlike the original live action show from the 1970's, this anime will have a giant default mecha, called Spade Robo, created by the assembly and accumulation of the Card Jets (pun on "Card Sets").
Plot[]
A global criminal empire, known simply as "Crime", wants to take over the whole world. Its leader Iron Claw deploys masked faceless thugs/footsoldiers ("Crimers") and cyborg/robot assassins which eventually terrorize Tokyo Japan (Jacksonville, Florida in the PR dub).
A New York-based hero team, ISSIS (International Science Special Investigation Squad - Kokusai Kagaku Tokusou Tai - known as NASA amateur hero team in the PR dub) has been created by INTERPOL. Kujirai Daisuke (nicknamed "Joker") recruits four young people for his cyborg enhancement project, who undergo surgical procedures (wishes/magic from a genie lamp in the PR dub), energy manipulation powers and bionic upgrades, all for the purpose of attacking these nasty Crimers and monsters. This hero team is called J.A.K.Q. - Jacker Blitzkrieg Squad - and later incorporates uber cyborg and disguise master, Banba Sokichi (Big One - white suit with a rainbow motif).

Characters[]
- Sakurai Goro (Spade Ace/Red) - champion of karate, judo, and archery, and skilled in being an athlete and equestrian. The main leader of J.A.K.Q. until the arrival of Big One, he rescued Mizuki Karen prior to joining J.A.K.Q.
- Higashi Ryu (Dia Jack/Blue) - Loves jazz music and fast cars, and he was a former boxer who still keeps in touch with his former boxing partners. But he can be very solitary and headstrong.
- Mizuki Karen (Heart Queen/Pink) - A former policewoman and karate teacher, and Goro's love interest.
- Daichi Bunta (Clover King/Green) - Former oceanographer who died in a freak submarine accident (due to lack of oxygen), only to be revived by INTERPOL and turned into a J.A.K.Q. warrior. He becomes childlike and funny, with a strong attachment to his toy kendama.
- Banba Sokichi (Big One/White) - a flamboyant new leader of J.A.K.Q., he has brilliant problem-soling skills to help the other members fight against Crime's cyborgs and crimer footsoldiers.
