This is a protest song I wrote. It's called "It's a Cruel World", it's about real word issues for example, terrorism, climate change COVID-19, etc. and I decided to use jazz for the song.
Lyrics[]
Verse[]
Oh, listen up my friend, Kevin
30 men died in Chernobyl
They all woke up in Heaven
Doin' a paso doble
Climate Change is one of Earth's biggest problems
They've been lately causin' some tsunamis
Oh, how far we have fallen
We'll soon be cryin' for our mommy
Chorus[]
A cure was made by AstraZeneca
I think they really need to spread the word
I'm just glad Covid wasn't astrological
It's a cruel world
A cure was made by AstraZeneca
I think they really need to spread the word
I'm, just glad Covid wasn't astrological
It's a cruel world
Verse 2[]
I'd rather go to 7-eleven
They got some ice cold slurpee
It's better than 9/11
Oh real life so much worse than living in fantasy
And Covid, let's not forget you
You've infected millions since late 2019
It is 100% the next flu
And you can't keep us inside until we're 90
Chorus[]
A cure was made by AstraZeneca
I think they really need to spread the word
I'm just glad Covid wasn't astrological
It's a cruel world
A cure was made by AstraZeneca
I think they really need to spread the word
I'm, just glad Covid wasn't astrological
It's a cruel world
