Injustice: The Animated Series is an adult animated superhero television series created by Bruce Timm, Greg Wiseman for Adult Swim, and HBO Max and will premier on September 13th 2023. Based on the DC series of the same name by Tom Taylor, Brian Buccelato, the show follows Batman, and his followers who used be part of the Justice League, attempting to rebuild the world following the cataclysmic nuclear explosion in Metropolis caused by the Joker, and following his demise by the hand of Superman, he begins a new world order regime, along with Wonder Woman and massacre any who oppress their will.

In 2021, the poorly received animated Injustice movie was critized for being not accurate to the comics or games, the movie ran for an hour and 18 minutes, stories was awful, and many critzed the idea of killing flash, Nightwing's death not accurate to the comic book, Atom, Cyborg's roles, and having the final battle center mostly around Amazo, including Injustice Superman being stopped by another pregnant Lois Lane. So around early 2022, a reboot was established, originally it was supposed to be movie like trilogy, ones that would follow both the video game and comic book, it was reveled in Comic Con of 2022, that Injustice adaptation will be of 30 minute episodes, divided into 5 seasons, roughly around 10 episodes total, the first 2 would focus on the Years Zero, One, Two, Three, while the last 3 seasons centered around the video game and possible idea of what the injustice 3 game would look like, so there will be more to focus on. Originally the voice director wanted cast the DCAU voice actors, since it was actually confirmed that Injustice story was inspired by a two-parter episode in Justice League called "A better world" but following the passing of Kevin Conroy, they decided on different actors. For Batman, it was considering hiring, Bruce Greenwood, Jason O'mara, Troy Baker, Roger Craig Smith. For Superman, Jerry O' Connell was considered a choice. Vanessa Marshall was confirmed to voice Wonder Woman, as she admitted she was ecstatic to play another evil Wonder Woman again. Kaley Cuoco was confirmed to voice Harley Quinn for the first two seasons and Hylden Walch would voice her for the rest series. Bumper Robinson was confirmed to play Cyborg who had previously voiced Cyborg in Justice League: Doom. The Flash would be voiced by Josh Keaton. Shazam would be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal similar to his voice in the Injustice Movie. The first season premiered on September. Around summer of 2023, Hal Jordan would also be voiced by Nolan North and Maria Canals Barrera, would be confirmed to voice her long time character Hawkgirl. Eliza Dushku, who previously voiced Catwoman, was casted to play her again.
