Imagination Engine Pictures is an American production company founded by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes, and Eric Weiner. Which makes Dora the Explorer.

The company was founded in 1996 after the production of the first Backyardigans pilot Me and My Friends begin when the idea of The Knockarounds was failed.

Imagination Engine Pictures was founded by the creators of Dora the Explorer (Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh Valdes, and Eric Weiner) in 1996.

In 2002, the company was acquired by American-Canadian company MapleStars Distribution.

  • Creator's Oddball: While most of their Productions are targeted for preschoolers, Cosmic Critters is the only one example to be targeted for older kids (if you count the LPS and Pound Puppies 2010s series and Equestria Girls), as well, as 6teen (which is for teenagers) and Danger Dan (which is targeted for adults).
