ITV logo 2019

This is an idea for a potential revival of ITV, the UK's original commercial TV network. Instead of being unified under one identity, the network would be split into several regions, each with their own dedicated channel. Under Ofcom regulations, no ITV company would be allowed to own a controlling stake in any other.

Each station would have its own major studio complex capable of large-scale productions, each regional news show would be supplemented by a group of local news teams dispersed across each region, and all stations would broadcast the ITN news service, and the GMTV breakfast service. Certain regions would also be subdivided for efficiency, to provide them with more localised programming. CITV would remain as a separate channel from the rest of the network.

Each regional station would show their regional logo morphing into the 2019 ITV logo (as shown above), and would feature a mixture of both in-vision and out-of-vision continuity.
