Her early design depicted her as a dark green soda can. Her injuries involve getting hit by falling pianos, getting slammed by doors and slipping on ice or banana peels. She is generally considered a tomboy along with her best friend Masque. She is known for being featured as a mentor of many of the show's male characters (except for Buckethead, who she loathes because Buckethead is neat, clean and tidy) and has a moderate survival rate compared to many of the other main characters (If the pilot "Banjo Mania" is counted, she holds the distinction of being the first character in the series to get injured).

Doc Broc (Voiced by Tara Strong (Series 1 only), Laila Berzins (Series 2-onwards): Doc Broc is a moldy broccoli head. Doc Broc is the "genius" of the team. Skilled in both the technological and the medical field, Doc Broc fancies himself as the brains of the team, though considering the others, that's still saying something. Creating new technology for the team, he always has a new gadget to help others in a time of need. His injuries often involve machinery, explosions and his own mistakes.

Rocky (Voiced by Tara Strong (Series 1 only), Spike Spencer (Series 2-onwards): Rocky is a stale sprinkled donut. Rocky is the party dude of the Grosseries. Rocky lives his own life to the extreme and is a wild party animal. Ridiculously uncouth compared to the others, he spends plenty of time pranking his best friends, much to their annoyance. Despite this, he's still close with them, willing to defend them first. Rocky also holds the distinction of being the first character in the series to get injured (If not counting the pilot "Banjo Mania").

Egghead (Voiced by Tara Strong (Series 1 Only), Alexandra Ryan (Series 2-onwards): Egghead is a rotten egg. Egghead is the last of the main Grosseries to expire, Egghead is the youngest of the team. Very naive and childish, Egghead is often bullied around in jest by the others. Even though he's a bit slow on the uptake, he still jumps into the adventures with them. His injuries involve tripping, slipping and falling.

Ricardo (Voiced by Nicolas Roye): Ricardo is a rotten banana. Ricardo is the romantic of the Grosseries, handsome by Grossery standards, Ricardo is a hispanic ladies' man. Meathead (Voiced by Spike Spencer): Meathead is a rotten and moldy sub sandwich. Meathead thinks he's the life of the party, even if there isn't a party going on. He's loud and proud, while also lacking any manners nor anything to backup with that lack. He is constantly creating wild schemes that he attempts to get others to join in. As soon as they turn south, he'll start to blame on everyone but himself, however. His injuries involve getting hit the face by frying pans and getting bopped in the head by Stinky or flower pots.

Stinky (Voiced by Spike Spencer): Stinky is a moldy wedge of blue cheese. Stinky is the grumpy elder of the Grosseries. As the oldest of the Grosseries, he has words of wisdom to share, whether they're wanted or not. He wallows in his nostalgia, and there's a hint that not all of the stories he tells actually happened. Despite this, the others can often find some surprisingly helpful hints in his stories, if they're willing to listen. When Stinky gets really fed up of Meathead annoying him, he bops him in the head to teach him a lesson. Stinky also has a fairly short temper around the younger Grosseries. Despite his attitude, he deeply cares for his friends and the rest of the gang. He also takes care of Egghead and looks after him. In the episode "Lifestyles Of The Rich and Disgusting", he used to be rich when he was younger and had a girlfriend named Lady Cheese, but unfortunately lost it all when he was swindled by his former best friend which is revealed that it was Meathead’s Ancestor. A running gag is that Stinky forgets the names of the gang constantly (Sometimes including his own or mistaking his nickname for someone else). He also often tells his stories to his fellow gang members. His injuries involve him tumbling down staircases, slipping on puddles and explosions.

Gooey (Voiced by Kyle Hebert): Gooey is a pre-chewed and slimy wad of chewing gum. Gooey is a chewed-up wad of gum who speaks in sloppy splutters. Buckethead (Voiced by Kyle Hebert): Buckethead is a robotic bucket. Buckethead known for being a hopeless and hapless suitor, Buckethead tries his best to impress Sparkles but his attempts always fail resulting in either getting his friendship rejected by Sparkles or getting his karma in the most comical ways possible, despite his misfortunes, he will never give up his hopes and dreams to win Sparkles' friendship. Masque is described as antsy, listless and honestly a nervous wreck, her clay has gone clumpy and the contents that leak out of her lid are as flaky as she is. She doesn't even want to join the adventure, but it always finds her, whether she likes it or not, dragging her into the fray. She is also Sparkles' best friend. Her injuries involve animals, getting slammed by doors, getting bonked in the head by bowling balls or coconuts and slipping on ice or banana peels.

She was popular at one time, but that time was a while ago. Now she tries to be "hip", but she's always behind in the new, which wouldn't be so bad if her idea of "new" wasn't a decade old. Her injuries involve glass and constructions.

Pilaf (Voiced by Tabitha St. Germain): Pilaf is a plate of moldy malaysian jambalaya. Spicy, with a flair for the jazzy side of life, Pilaf takes life big and she takes life easy. This congealed mess of sausage, rice and peppers is thick and warm-hearted, though most of that is from age. Well-seasoned in more ways than one, she considers herself a mother figure to the younger Grosseries. Though she can be a bit overbearing and protective of them, her heart's in the right place. Her injuries usually involve getting hit in the head by washtubs, slipping on ice or banana peels and tripping.

Meringue (Voiced by Kazumi Evans): Meringue is a moldy macaron. Meringue thought he was going to be a "perfect cookie", one that would pass in any fancy bakery and make him a star. One mistake led him to the dregs of the Yucky Mart, and he hasn't been over it since. Now his ganache is curdled and his cookie is crap, and he fully knows it and now he's mighty miserable, only thinking of what could have been, ignoring the now, even as it happens. His injuries involve household appliances.

Java (Voiced by Tom Kenny): Java is a jittery cup of espresso. Full of too much energy at the worst times, Java is permanently happy and permanently perky. In the Pride Month special, it is revealed that she’s bisexual. Her injuries involve getting hit by surfboards, electric shocks and slipping on ice.

Missy (Voiced by Mona Marshall): Missy is a slimy, wrapped Hershey’s Kiss. Missy is normally seen passive and nice to others, but actually she enjoys dating other characters. She is, however, still friendly and upbeat to the other characters and she worries for the well being of characters that she actually cares for. In the Pride Month special, it is revealed that Missy is pansexual. She is also one of the members of "Fizzette's Bunch". Like her friend Fizzette, she also has a crush on Ricardo.
