Hank the Cowdog is a 1998 film distributed by Columbia Pictures based on the book, The Adventures of Hank the Cowdog.
Hank, the Head of Ranch Security on High Loper's farm, gets framed for the murder of a chicken. As a result, he resorts to becoming an outlaw with the coyotes, falling in love with a female coyote and getting kicked out. It is then he learns that the coyotes plan to kill Drover, the poor little mutt and Hank's old friend as means of revenge.
The movie had a tie-in SEGA Genesis game.
