Handy is an orange beaver and one of the protagonists in Happy Tree Friends.
Appearance[]
Handy is an orange beaver. He wears a yellow construction hat and a tool belt, consisting of a screwdriver and a hammer. In the Happy Tree Friends webseries, he has his namesake amputated arms, which are cut by the elbows (sometimes the wrists), and covered in bandages. His ears are also hidden under his hat.
In Happy Tree Friends: The Movie, Handy wears an orange shirt, blue pants and beige boots, alongside his hat. However, he is shown with full arms, with bandages on one of them. He also has a blue diamond marking on his right cheek. In Happy Tree Friends Omega, the bandages cover both of his arms from the elbow down to his fingers.
Character[]
He has mostly been portrayed as an adult, as he builds houses, team up with construction workers and fix up old items. In Happy Tree Friends, Handy is usually hindered onscreen by his nubs, giving a scowl every time he tries to do something that requires hands and fails. However, when not on camera, he is capable of building or fixing anything. In Happy Tree Friends Omega, he has non-dexterous hands, but he can still climb. However, anything else he tries to do onscreen that requires hands will fail, and he gives a similar scowl.
