Groundbridge is an upcoming 2016 live-action/3D animated action-adventure fantasy film directed by Peter Ramsey. Featuring a large ensemble cast, the story focuses on a formerly homeschooled ten-year old and his newly-met girlfriend who are drafted in to a team of other students, who decide to travel through an interstellar transportation device called a "Groundbridge".

The film will be released on June 24, 2016, in 3D and 2D by Paramount Pictures & Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

Marketing

On July 17, 2015, shortly after the film wrapped production, the first trailer for the film was released, and was shown in front of Ant-Man. Another trailer debuted on November 20, 2014, in front of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. The trailer was also shown in front of The Good Dinosaur, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Point Break.
