It has been a few days since Mrs. Besson was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and the kids weren't coping with it well. And they still have to expose the liar they really needed to expose. They are in the theatre room with their friends where Isabelle greeted them.
Isabelle: Well, look what we have here. How's it going?
Zoe: Not good.
Isabelle: What's wrong?
Josh: Our mum has cancer.
Isabelle: Well, she could go get chemo or something.
Josh: Well, here's the problem. She can't get chemo and she doesn't have time left.
Zoe: Because she got stage 4 cancer,

Hayden: And we can't even see her because I have diabetes.

Isabelle: Well, I want you guys to try to perform as a trio. Because in Liam's play, there will be 3 main protagonists.

Isabelle: You guys are side characters but you'll have to sing with the protagonists. Or maybe start singing your solo songs but Liam just needs the Bessons for now.

Kandace: Sofia, they're trying to cope with their mum having cancer.
Hayden: We don't want to deal with it now.
At lunch, Josh, Hayden and Zoe could barely eat their food. They couldn't deal with the fact that their mum will be gone soon and they couldn't spend time with her because she has cancer and the fact that they have medical conditions.
Sofia: Why aren't you guys eating?
Zoe: I can't deal with it anymore.
Kandace: Look guys, you need to eat so you'll have energy later. And Hayden, you need to eat so that you could try to balance your diet. You have diabetes.
Hayden: Type 1.
Kandace: Okay, just try to eat.
Slowly, the Bessons started eating and Kandace and Sofia were proud of that. That's when the girls wondered why did their friends choose Grenade by Bruno Mars.
Kandace: So, I was wondering, why did you choose the song, Grenade?
Josh: Long story.
Zoe: It reminds us of Kayla.
Josh: And the fact she asked me to be her boyfriend.
Zoe: Awkward.
Hayden: It really is.
Kandace: Glad you're taken like Zoe.
Sofia: Yeah.
Zoe: But then my big brother is still single.
Josh: Zoe!
Hayden: You'll find a girl or guy someday.
Zoe: Yeah.
Josh: Nah, I'll remain single for a bit. I just got out of a relationship a few months ago ever since Kayla happened. I need a break from dating for now.
Zoe: I understand that. We were recovering from Kayla but mum's cancer digs a big hole in our previous wound.
Hayden: Yeah.
Sofia: Then let it heal eventually.
Zoe: My girlfriend's right, if we continue being like this, we can't cope with it anymore.
Josh: Like to the point where you'll cut and eventually kill yourself.
Kandace: We don't want that.
Hayden: Yeah.
After lunch, the kids went back to the theatre. It seems to them that the theatre room is like the programming room but bigger. That's where they reunited with someone, Naomi.
Naomi: Hey.
Josh: Hey Naomi.
Zoe: How's it going?
Naomi: Pretty well. Why are you in the theatre room? What happened to the programming room?
Hayden: We decided to close it because not much students want to sign up. So we signed up to the theatre club.
Naomi: That's nice.
Zoe: Naomi, guess what?
Naomi: What?
Zoe: I'm dating.
Naomi: Really?
Sofia: Yes, she's dating me.
Naomi: oh, so you're lesbian now?
Zoe: Bisexual.
Naomi: Oh.
Josh: But we got some bad news.
Hayden: Kayla's back up and our mum has cancer.
Naomi: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
Josh: And we weren't allowed to see her cuz I have asthma, Hayden and diabetes and Zoe has allergies.
Zoe: Which is seriously not good.
Naomi: I know.
That's when Isabelle came in to check on the group.
Isabelle: Hey guys.
Zoe: Hey Isabelle.
Isabelle: So, tomorrow Sofia and Kandace would have to sing as a duo.
Sofia: Really?
Isabelle: Yeah.
Zoe: Shall we go home afterwards?
Sofia: Okay.
