Netflix Studios and Tsuburaya Fields Media & Pictures Entertainment announced development of another US adaptation of Ultraman, following Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero, it'll be titled G.U.S.T. (Global United STrategies) but this series will be written as an anthology series each season will be adapted from an Ultraman series, including Ultra Q each season will be standalone, yet interconnected much like the MCU. G.U.ST. is a major global police and science organization (created from SSSP, GUTS, and Monarch from MonsterVerse) that investigates and/or eliminates (should the anomaly be hostile), each season will focus on a branch in a different part of the world and the Ultra they work with, monsters from the franchise will appear in a more modern CG design, human and alien villains, monsters created from various films like Nope, Cloverfield, and Trollhunter, shows like Stranger Things, Doctor Who, and Ragnarok, books like the Goosebumps series, Lovecraftian works, among other works. Filming will commence at Salford, Greater Manchester, England with Ultraman fighting scenes shoot at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Special effects[]
Pixomondo, Weta FX, Rodeo FX, and RVX will provide the special effects for the series for the series. Ultraman's Specium Ray, Ultra Slash and other attack sequences will be remade in CGI as homage to the original 1966 series.
