Furious 9 (also known as Fast 9, and Fast and Furious 9) is an 2020 American action film directed by Justin Lin. The ninth feature length film in Universal's The Fast and the Furious franchise, Furious 9 was originally announced by Vin Diesel and Universal, May 5th at CinemaCon. The film premiered in Berlin January 15, 2020, and was released on April 10, 2020 in North America, with major international releases for IMAX 3D, 3D and 4DX showings, the film also grossed over $4,992,856,987 dollars on the box office.

  • Furious 9 will be the fourth film after 2006's Tokyo Drift and 2009's short film Los Bandoleros not to feature the character Brian O'Conner, who was officially retired in Furious 7 following Paul Walker's death.
