Freakazoid Returns! (also known as Freakazoid 2) is an animated super-hero action comedy co-directed by Bruce Timm and Tom Ruegger. It serves as a sequel to Freakazoid! and is the eighth film in the Warner Bros. Cinematic Looniverse. The voice cast of the first film returns for the sequel, with Mike Myers being included as the Lobe. The film focuses on the titular character adjusting to his role as the protector of Washington D.C. while dealing with the Lobe.
Synopsis[]
Following the events of his first adventure, Freakazoid is quite possibly the most well-known person in town. Ladies want to date him and guys want to be him. He's even got his own fan club! Many people love him and many more people are rightfully confused by him. One man in particular is convinced that the town deserves better than a masked jester in spandex. He goes to extreme lengths to prove his point and transforms himself with a scientific experiment. Referring to himself as the Lobe, he is bent on destroying Freakazoid and becoming the hero that he believes Washington deserves.
