The Adventurous Tales of Sherlock Gnomes is a British-American action adventure mystery comedy web television series based on the Paramount Animation film Sherlock Gnomes. The series serves as a prequel to the film, taking place about four years before Sherlock and Watson had met Gnomeo and Juliet.

Premise

Taking place four years before the events of the film, it follows the early adventures of Sherlock Gnomes and his assistant Watson in thwarting Moriarty's schemes in shattering all the garden gnomes of London, England.

• Sherlock Gnomes (voiced by James Patrick Stuart); the titular character. The gnome counterpart of Sherlock Holmes, who is the sworn protector of garden gnomes.
• Dr. Watson (voiced by Roger L. Jackson); the gnome counterpart of Dr. John Watson, who is the assistant to Sherlock.
• Moriarty (voiced by Eric Bauza); the main antagonist and pie mascot counterpart of Professor Moriarty, who is the arch enemy of Sherlock and the threat of destroying the garden gnomes.
