Cassandra "Cassie" Lang is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The daughter of Scott Lang, the character first appeared in Marvel Premiere #47 (April 1979) as Cassie Lang, in Young Avengers #6 (May 2006) as Stature and in Astonishing Ant-Man #6 (May 2016) as Stinger. A member of the Young Avengers and The Initiative, she has the same powers as her father, the ability to shrink and grow in size; however, she manifested her powers long after her first exposure to Pym Particles.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the character was portrayed by Abby Ryder Fortson as a child in Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), by Emma Fuhrmann as a teenager in Avengers: Endgame (2019), and is portrayed by Kathryn Newton in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).

Concept of Cassie Lang as Ant-Girl in Ultimate Marvel: Earth-2 and the continuities of Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion and Marvel: All New, All Different Chronicles

• A version of Cassie Lang is one of the core protagonists in Ultimate Marvel: Earth-2. This version goes by the identity of the superheroine Ant-Girl and is Scott Lang's daughter with Hope Van Dyne.
• Cassie appears in Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion, voiced by Jessica DiCicco. Based on her counterpart in the Ultimate Marvel: Earth-2 continuity, she is depicted as Gwen Stacy's rather enthusiastic, but highly intelligent 8-year-old younger cousin who received a prototype Pym Particle suit after coming in contact with a nano-tech wrist device which duplicated the functions of her father Scott's Ant-Man suit. Her suit comes out of the device, which she uses to design and redesign her suit. She is also a very close friend to Marcus Thompson's younger brother Jack, whom she occasionally nicknames "Jackie", and her friendship with him catches the eyes and "steals the hearts" of Peter Parker's friends (especially the girls, including Mary Jane Watson and Anya Corazon). Cassie also has a strong bond with Anya, who is mentioned to have been her babysitter since Anya first met Gwen and her family. She first appears in "City of Heroes, Part 3: American Cats", walking around with Gwen, Mary Jane and Jack, and also befriending Barbara "Barbie" Morse. She then appears in "What Girls Are Made Of", on which she is put by Hope Van Dyne under the care of Carlie Cooper, who then tells her stories about Firestar, Wave, Tigra, Shadowcat, Ghost-Spider, Spider-Girl and Silk. She and Jack later make their debuts as Ant-Girl and Speed respectively in "Real Wild Initiation", on which they are trained by Spider-Man to improve their abilities. Despite the conflict with Madame Masque and Kree captains Yon-Rogg and Minn-Erva, Cassie and Jack eventually emerge victorious when they discover that (as Spider-Man and Carlie discovered earlier) their powers (both originating from Kree technology) are greater when they are together and attached to one another. By the end of the episode, they become junior members of the Champions. In "Mother Focus", Cassie helps Gwen on her goal to retrieve her long-lost mother Helen from the Quantum Realm. She and Sharon Carter are later shown in the end of the episode embracing their aunt at a hospital. In the next episode "Road to the Legendary Universes", Ant-Girl befriends Groot after he joins the Champions. Later in the "Legendary Universes" arc, Ant-Girl and Speed join Spider-Man's journey across the dimensions his parents explored to obtain the source of their scientific projects and destroy the Oscorp protocols which were discarded before the Regent can collect them. She and Jack take part of the trip in "Part 4: Heroes in Disguise", where the Champions join forces with Optimus Prime and the Autobots to defeat Predaking's Kree Armada and Megatron's Decepticon crew. During the episode, Cassie and Jack befriend Grimlock, with whom they are most partnered with.
  • Cassie / Ant-Girl returns in the show's Disney+ sequel miniseries Marvel's Spider-Man: Rising Legend, voiced again by Jessica DiCicco. Appearing in the second episode "Man’s Best Friend", she is among the Champions who befriend Buster the Spider-Dog. During the montage of Buster with Gwen Stacy / Ghost-Spider, Cassie is shown playing hide-and-seek with him by shrinking into and hiding in Buster’s furr, until he scratches himself, shaking Cassie until she gets dizzy, and reveals herself. Later in "A Fantastic Meeting", Cassie and Jack Thompson / Speed are shown making friends with Ben Parker Stacy / Spider-Boy, whom Cassie refers to as her "new cousin". She later helps the Champions search for Flint Marko / Sandman, and keep Seymour O’Reilly / Stone Boy in check.
  • Cassie / Ant-Girl returns as a main character in the show's follow-up TV special A Marvel Christmas Carol, again voiced by Jessica DiCicco. She appears in the special helping with Spider-Man's plan to reform Franklin Todd from his greedy, abusive ways, and make sure the Dawson family has better benefits, by which Doctor Strange turns the young heroes into the Ghosts of Christmas. Cassie takes the form of the first spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Past (whose attire and form consist of her becoming a white-dressed angel with light-emitting powers), with Groot becoming a friendly Christmas Sprite who accompanies her. In the epilogue, Cassie is shown enjoying the Christmas party with her family and friends, during which she exchanges gifts with Jack Thompson and Ben Parker Stacy.

She is depicted as Scott Lang's 8-year-old daughter with Hope Van Dyne, Nadia van Dyne's younger sister, the youngest of Hank Pym's grandchildren, and Gwen Stacy's younger cousin. She became Stature after coming in possession of a prototype Quantum Realm particle suit of her own, which uses similar functions of her father's Ant-Man suit, but also added with electro-blasts which she can shoot out of her gloves. She strongly loves her cousin and views the teenaged heroes, including Peter Parker / Spider-Man, as family. She is also a member of the New Champions under Spider-Man's leadership.
