Oasis is a Battle Shonen Manga written by Gosho Aoyama that ran in Weekly Shonen Sunday

Synopsis

Season 1

The story takes place in an alternative reality in which both the United States and Colombia sought manifest destiny and the cold war is still ongoing to this day. The story revolves around a teenage boy named Joseph Watson who seeks to combat the regime of the United Emirates of America. one day, Joe encounters a little girl that constantly pesters him, until the girl transforms into a young adult who reveals herself to be a middle aged lady who can grant people a power called the Oasis, said power can allow it's users to plant life within dead organisms. with a new disguise he created for himself, his years of martial arts experience and newly given powers, Joe sets on a rebellion against the UEA. after making his 1st move. Joe's long time friend, Alberto Saavedra(who enlisted within the American Military) is sent to investigate. however, Joe encounters supporters to his cause. Such as the Colombian-American Freedom Fighter, Serena Stanford, the grandson of former Soviet leader, Yingqin Gorbachev and Turkish-Iranian pirate, Mustafa Bakhtiar.

• Shin Jonouchi/The Truth (Age: 500+, Scion: None, CV: Tomokazu Sugita and Alejandro Saab) - real name, Joseph Truman. the main antagonist of the 5th and Final Arc. originally a Sailor from the Kingdom of England. he and his fellow crewmates discovered rare minerals that could grant people magical powers. the aristocrats he worked under wanted to use said minerals for themselves and to take over England. Joseph tried to expose the aristocrat's conspiracy, only to be framed for witchcraft. as a results, he was set to be burned at the steak. thinking he was about to die, Joseph cursed humanity in his final breath. however, during the attemped execution, lightning struck the steak, causing the fire to spread towards the execution's attendees, killing them instead and activiating the powers within the minerals around the area. Joseph survived the execution, and with his newly found powers. he freed his crew from their prisons and they turned on the aristocrats and killed them. afterwards, Joseph founded a cult called "The Truth".
