Weapon X: Damnation is a spin-off team of Exiles: New World. The Weapon X team was created after it was decided there were a bit too many problems in the Multiverse. Just like both the original Weapon X, original Exiles, and Exiles: New World, the series has no main character shields, meaning if a character dies they stay dead, forever. They are also led by a Timebroker like the other teams.
