Pokemon Cards[]

Pokemon Cards can summon a fellow Pokemon to help you on the field and help you get through obstacles in order to progress through the game. You'll recieve the cards from Brock after you clear your first mission in Pokemon.

Pikachu	Electric	ALWAYS goes into battle with you every time from this point forward, rather than on the field (usually the black sheep of the Pokemon cards)
Scyther	Bug/Flying	cuts down grass and trees that block the road
Charmander	Fire	melts ice and steel
Machoke	Fighting	moves boulders that block the road
Lapras	Water/Ice	helps you tread water
Squirtle	Water	puts out fires
Venonat	Bug/Poison	tracks hidden objects
Diglett	Ground	digs you a hole in order to escape
Pidgeot	Normal/Flying	flies you to any part of the world you're in, and also helps you get to unreachable platforms
Abra	Psychic	teleports you from one world to another
Haunter	Ghost/Poison	makes you invisible and undetectable
Jolteon	Electric	lights up dark places, making them easier to get around
Jigglypuff	Normal	puts guards to sleep
