Plot[]
when A powerful cosmic entity called Phoenix Force headed for earth nick fury call in the avengers from the space headquarter S.W.O.R.D. Captain Marvel took a team include Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch and Thor to space to intercept Phoenix Force but they couldn't stop it. Thor get seriously injured from the fight.
Back in earth, suddenly Jean Gray and Emma Frost get telepathic that something coming to earth. they assemble the rest of the team.
Meanwhile, back in New York rest of the avengers prepared for Phoenix Force when x-men show up to help them. Even combine of X-men and Avengers Phoenix Force was too powerful but they was able to weak it. It start to look for host. One last time rest of the avengers and x-men try to stop the Phoenix Force but Phoenix Force try to kill them when Jean try to shield them with her power. Phoenix Force saw her power and potential and decide to make her his host. So it offer jean a deal if she want to save her friends and earth then become the host. Jean look around and see most of the avengers and x-men are defeated. there's no way they can win so see look at cyclops and tell him telepathy that she's sorry, she love him. Cyclops look at her with confused suddenly Phoenix Force enter Jean body. Cyclops cry out thinking she's dead but suddenly re-forms herself with the new costume, identity and power of "Phoenix".
Phoenix look at cyclops and left the earth. Cyclops now understand what jean mean. avengers and x-men retreat with they're friends for recover.
After few days later, x-men and avengers recover from they're battle with Phoenix. suddenly Captain Marvel report that Phoenix is coming back to earth. Avengers come to X-mansion to make plan how to stop Phoenix. they can't find a way to save Jean so avengers decide to kill Jean while x-men want time to figure out a way to save her. avengers try to reason x-men but Cyclops won't listen. wolverine think avengers right that they have to save earth for that to kill Jean; while Scarlet Witch think Cyclops right. They both try to reason with they're team but it didn't work. They change team. avengers try to stop the x-men when magneto come stop both team fighting.
Meanwhile, jean now become Dark Phoenix destroy few planet and head back to earth to destroy when x-men and avengers try stop her. Cyclops try to remind her of he's love and the friends. She finds herself conflicted between her normal feelings for her loved ones and her new destructive impulses as Dark Phoenix. Emma Frost through a vicious psychic duel, she creates a set of psychic "circuit-breakers" which reduce her to only her original Marvel Girl powers. This allows Jean's normal personality to reassert control but that didn't hold her for long it overrides Emma's psychic restraints and restores her to Dark Phoenix. Avengers head on to kill her but Cyclops still think Jean still inside there and tell the X-men to protect her. X-men and avengers start fight with each other. Seeing that Jean, struggling to keep control, and get back to normal. Once she gain control of herself she took Cyclops visor off him and stand from him that disintegrates her after an emotional good-bye to Cyclops.
