Silk is a fictional Korean American superhero, appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Silk is the alias of Cindy Moon, who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 (April 2014) and was created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos.

A genius with an eidetic memory, Cindy was bitten by the same spider which bit Peter Parker before it died, and was trained by Ezekiel Sims. She was trapped in a bunker by Sims when Morlun came, and was later released by Peter thirteen years later after he became the superhero Spider-Man. Cindy then became a vigilante, wanting to stop threats and find her missing family. She is also a member of the Champions, the Order of the Web, and the Agents of Atlas.

She was portrayed by Tiffany Espensen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). The character will also appear in a self-titled television series produced by Sony Pictures Television for Amazon Prime Video, set in Sony's Spider-Man Universe.

• Silk appears in Comic Con Incorporated. She is one of the roomers of the fictional titular hotel and is roommates with Green Lantern Jessica Cruz.
• A version of Cindy Moon / Silk appears in Ultimate Marvel: Earth-2. As in Iago PUC's Marvel TV show ideas, this version has the same principles as in the comics and is re-imagined as an Inhuman descendant whose Inhuman DNA enhanced her Spider powers. When her Inhuman powers manifested from a Terrigen Mist bomb triggered by Captain Ultra during a staged fight against the Masters of Menace, Cindy was transformed into a centaur-like half-human half-spider creature. Horrified by her transformation, Cindy isolated herself in a nearby jungle as her parents became hateful of the Jamesons, whom they blamed for Cindy's condition. After months of solitude, Cindy regained confidence after an encounter with Ant-Girl (whom Cindy recognized as Cassie Lang, who she baby-sitted five years ago and had a soft spot for) and Spider-Man (whom she recognized as Peter Parker, who has been a friend of hers for a long time) and decided to act as a heroine in New York, adopting the alter-ego "Shadow Widow". Along with the same powers and abilities of her Earth-616 counterpart, Shadow Widow also has Miles Morales's unique abilities of Camouflage and Venom Strike as well as Adamantium retractable claw nails (similar to Lady Deathstrike) and acid breath. She also currently resides in Pegasus Z, a paradise island and secret peace sanctuary for the free-spirited created by the Mutants and Inhumans.

Silk is also in some of Iago PUC's Marvel TV show ideas. While her origins in these versions are the same as in the comics, these versions introduce Silk as an Inhuman descendant whose Inhuman DNA is responsible for enhancing her Spider-abilities, enabling her to produce organic webbing, draw stingers from her arms (similarly to the Scarlet Spiders) and also assimilate Miles Morales's unique abilities of Venom Strike and Camouflage (which, along with turning her invisible, also enables her to change colors and design images in her skin, on which she further conceals her identity by changing her eye color from human hazel/green to demonic blood red and design a green spider tattoo in her forehead).

• Silk is a central character in Avengers Unleashed, voiced by Alyssa Milano. She first cameos in I'm Only Inhuman as one of the many Inhuman descendants who are engulfed by the Terrigen Cloud during the Royal Family's battle with Ronan the Accuser's Kree forces. In "Project Ultimate", she is revealed to have learned Peter Parker is Spider-Man before agreeing to keep his secret and to have adopted Anya Corazon (whose parents died during the Oscorp incident which once turned Doctor Curt Connors into the Lizard) as her on surrogate sister. She also oversees Peter training Miles Morales and also helps during the Avengers' battle against Ultron by preventing dr. Spencer Smythe (who was working with Ultron for his personal purposes) from escaping. She is later shown in the end of the episode discovering that Anya developed Spider powers, prompting Cindy to reveal her own, much to Anya's joy, and Cindy's own amusement. She makes her full appearance as Silk in What Girls Are Made Of, on which she, Anya (as Spider-Girl) and She-Hulk team up with the Avengers to stop the Enchantress, who was planning to form a new alliance with villainous women of Earth to form the "Midgard Furies" for world domination over men. After defeating the Enchantress, Silk and She-Hulk end up joining the Avengers as official members while Anya joins the Avengers Academy program.
• Silk is also a supporting character in the second version of Iago PUC's Marvel Animated Universe, voiced by Ashly Burch.
  • Cindy Moon / Silk is also a main character in Marvel's Star Wars: Avengers of the Force and its sequel Galactic Machines, again voiced by Ashly Burch.
• Silk appears in Marvel's Spider-Man: Webbed Champion (an alternate story for the second season of the 2017 Spider-Man animated series), voiced by Stephanie Sheh.
  • Silk is a main character in Marvel's Princesses of Destiny.
  • Silk makes non-speaking appearances in the show's Disney+ sequel miniseries Rising Legend.
  • Silk also makes a non-speaking appearance in Marvel's Superhero Adventures: Infinity War. She is shown among the numerous heroes participating the final battle against Thanos's army of Klyntauri on Earth.
  • Silk also appears in Marvel's All-Star Multiverse, voiced again by Stephanie Sheh. Appearing in the episode "Ultimates", she becomes a member of the titular team under Shadow the Hedgehog's leadership, and joins their mission to stop the assassins hired by the Power Broker (Taneleer Tivan the Collector) to kill the elite members of Babylon-6.
• Silk appears in Marvel: All New, All Different Chronicles, voiced by Stephanie Sheh. In the show, she is a Kung Fu prodigy who trained under Shang-Chi's mentorship and is a member of the Dragon Society, a group of young masters in Martial Arts also consisting of Colleen Wing / White Fox, Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Danny Rand / Iron Fist, Tadashi Hamada / Silver Samurai, and Lin Lie the Sword Master. She is romantically involved with Daredevil, and is best friends with White Fox, whom she was at first rivals with until they bonded and (according to Shang-Chi) "became sisters".
• Cindy Moon / Silk appears in Iago PUC's Avengers Animated Trilogy, voiced by Kari Wahlgren in The Symbiote War as a minor character, and later by Alyson Stoner in Inhumans Unleashed as a main character.
