Fighting Vipers is a Japanese-American fighting video game, serving as a reboot of the homonymous video game. It is developed by Sega AM2 and published by Sega, being released for Sega Orion on June 9th, 2019.

Synopsis

In a small town, a tournament is held to show their powers as it is revealed that the head, also known as the Mayor, has a dark secret that causes the tournament to turn into something they did not expect.

Trivia

  • Before the release of the game, fans were hyped to see Candy once more due to being the most popular character in the series, as well as being the inspiration of a certain cat in another Sega series.
  • Hailey was purposedly designed to be similar to some pop singers like TBD.
  • The game also features some gags related to Pepsiman (Pepsi's former mascot in Japan) since he was an unlockable character in the first video game.
    • In fact, PepsiCo has licensed the Pepsi brand again for several marketing purposes, including a limited edition of Pepsi with an extra caffeine flavor named Pepsi Extra and a limited edition of Doritos with a Gruyère cheese and black pepper flavor named Doritos Viper.
