The Feral Tales also known as Feral Tales: The Misadventures of the Pet Crews is an American animated black comedy action television series, created by Doug Langdale and developed by Steven Spielberg of Amblin Entertainment, that ran from September 11, 1993 to March 7, 1998, aired on Fox (season 1 - 2) and The WB (season 3 - 5). It is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the anthropomorphic animals called the Pet Crews, which consists of Danny the dog, Max the cat, Kyle the bird, Hector the lizard, and Gill the toadfish. Set in the fictional town of San Francisco, in an unspecified location in the United States, it caricatures society, Western culture, television and the human condition.

Almost every episode features a new visitor, à la a "villain of the week" formula, who will come to the presumed "vacant" home. These visitors come in a weird variety of characters (mostly other animals, but sometimes humans, and even monsters). While the credits do not specify who, additional voices include[citation needed]:

Some characters are voiced by the main cast. This is especially more prevalent in Season 2.
