The Feral Tales also known as Feral Tales: The Misadventures of the Pet Crews is an American animated black comedy action television series, created by Doug Langdale and developed by Steven Spielberg of Amblin Entertainment, that ran from September 11, 1993 to March 7, 1998, aired on Fox (season 1 - 2) and The WB (season 3 - 5). It is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the anthropomorphic animals called the Pet Crews, which consists of Danny the dog, Max the cat, Kyle the bird, Hector the lizard, and Gill the toadfish. Set in the fictional town of San Francisco, in an unspecified location in the United States, it caricatures society, Western culture, television and the human condition.
