F-Zero: GP Legend: The Dark Threat is the successor to the anime F-Zero GP Legend. Like its predecessor, the series follows the adventures of the Mobile Task Force as they try to put a stop to the newly revived Dark Million Organization. The series continues from where the previous one left off, with Rick Wheeler becoming the new Captain Falcon and the pilot for the Blue Falcon, and Clank Hughes inheriting Rick's Dragon Bird. In addition, the series will feature the various pilots that appeared in F-Zero AX, and F-Zero Maximum Velocity, marking the first time that all F-Zero characters have existed in the same universe. The series will not feature the characters Black Shadow or Captain Falcon due to their deaths in the previous series. The series is set to premiere on TV Tokyo in Japan and in streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV, and anime streaming services such as Crunchyroll and Anime Network.
Plot[]
12 years after the defeat of Black Shadow at the hands of Captain Falcon, the universe is now at peace. Rick Wheeler has become the new Captain Falcon, and as such has taken on the role of a bounty hunter, along with the honor of piloting the Blue Falcon. Clank Hughes is now the pilot of the Dragon Bird as well and is almost as good as Rick himself was. However, unbeknownst to the Mobile Task Force, a wealthy man known as Lord Cyber is planning on reviving the Dark Million Organization with the help of Don Genie who was believed to Black Shadow. Now the Mobile Task Force must put a stop to them once again with the help of some new recruits.

Unlike the F-Zero: The Legend of Falcon, there are now seasons in the sequel. Most of the episodes will have a TV-14 rating and some will have the TV-PG rating. Out of all episodes, only 4 episodes are rated TV-MA.
Season 1[]
Season 1 consists of 70 episodes (including 6 specials). The five specials are consisting of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve/Day, and Valentine's Day. The season ends with a hour-long special to promote the Summer Olympics.

- Raiders of the Stolen F-Zero Prize Money: Before the next Grand Prix, Mr. Zero finds out that somebody had stolen $1 million dollars (or space credits) that were supposed to go towards the race. Dark Million decided to frame one of the curious Mobile Task Force team members, Mr. EAD! So now he and Rick had to find out who stolen the prize money so EAD's name gets cleared.
- Worldwide Records: When Jack founds a book called Galaxy Records, the team decided to break the records in that book. But when Kate and EAD have to break a record that will risk their lives, the team realizes that some records are very dangerous.

- Disco Derby: It's the annual Mute City's Crazy Disco Derby! The competition is very simple: dance to many different songs involving a disco without quitting or stopping. However, Kate had been forced to cheat through with a threat from Dark Million.
- The King of Crime: Michael Chain returns by breaking out of prison and causing mayhem in Mute City! Now the team must stop his gang members from causing damage.
- Leon's Return Quest: Leon returns to Mute City for a mission. However, once he confesses his love to Lucy Liberty, he had now has a choice to choose love over a mission.
- Pico in Love: Zoda finds out that Pico had never got a girlfriend nor dated a real woman before, so he plans to set him up with a date.
- Mute City of Horror: Halloween special. It's Halloween and the Mobile Task Force team (including Dark Million) had decided to throw a huge party to celebrate the holiday. Then, they decided to tell scary stories.

- Falcon Turkey: To celebrate Thanksgiving, Rick and Haruka had invited everyone over for a Thanksgiving dinner. But somehow, Zoda had stolen the turkey and they must get it back.
- Mount Tanaka (Frozen Land Mountain): John, Kate, and Mr. EAD are going to Frozen Land Mountain to try to climb all the way to the top. Everything goes horribly wrong once Dark Million set up bombs to cause an avalanche, trapping the three in the snow! Now they must survive until the Mobile Task Force rescues them. When Kate gets into a life-threating condition due to the cold and the injures, John has to risk their chance to get out of the snow by themselves to save her life. (Hour-long episode)
- Snowy Day into the Freezing Winter: Winter season has officially begun and it snows on that day, making Mute City a winter wonderland. But Dark Million wants to make the winter season permanent.
- Christmas Mission: Christmas special. It's Christmas Eve and everyone is ready to celebrate the holiday. Since Dark Million is getting coal this year, they go very low to kidnap Santa so they can threaten him to give them presents. That means that the team must rescue him while Mr. EAD had to take Santa's place temporarily and deliver presents to everyone across the galaxy.
- New Year's Night: In this New Year's special, Kate has to perform a song at Future Square to celebrate the new year. But Dark Million will try their best to do their last attempt on stopping the team for the year.

- This is the first time where all of the F-Zero characters exist in the same universe, in that case, in the anime universe.
- On Netflix, some episodes had been renamed to fit Netflix's guidelines. They also have an option to watch the Japanese subbed version or the English dubbed version.
