Easter Heroines

Easter Heroines (イースターヒロイン) is a Japanese Warioware magical girl series created by Made In PinkPlush100 and published by Nintendo via collaboration, with animation done by Toei Animation. It is produced by Made In PinkPlush100.

Synopsis[]

Tamami Gyokuryuu, a high school student who has just started celebrating Easter, is led by a mysterious voice during a her morning walk and obtains an egg that she gently catches. The next day, Tamami is drawn into another world and when she cracks the egg, turning her into a magical girl with bunny ears and tail. In the Easter World, Tamami finds her best friend, Youko Ishikawa, turned into a monster and is now being possessed by a villainy hare, and thinks that she can bring Youko back to the light by defeating her, so she begins to fight

Eventually, after Tamami saves Youko, she becomes friends with her. But not just her, she finds 5 other girls who are also fighting in the Easter World. The seven crack each of their eggs and challenge the villainous hares to save Easter World and their bunny rabbit residents.

Tamami Gyokuryuu/Easter Bunny Purità (玉龍珠美/イースターバニーピュリタ) - Tamami is a 17-year-old teenage girl who’s jovial, amiable and loves to hang out with people, even strangers! Excitable and benevolent, she loves to participate in games her friends like to do and enjoys fun events, especially cooking! Despite her peppy nature, she can be socially awkward and sometimes a bit clumsy, always slipping on accident or having thing fall onto her face, making her be called “The World’s Clumsiest Girl”. However, thanks to support from her friends, she keeps a brave attitude and vows to protect her friends from danger no matter what. When she’s Easter Bunny Purità, she gains increased jumping abilities and her finisher is “Easter Bunny Kick”. Her theme color is White and she served as the leader of the Easter Heroines.
Youko Ishikawa/Easter Bunny Brave (石川洋子/イースターバニーブレイブ) - Youko is a 16-year-old teenage girl who’s Tamami’s childhood friend and the only member to wear glasses. Her personality is the opposite of Tamami’s, she is gentle, shy and struggled with social anxiety. She has a slightly absent-minded side, but she can also be stubborn over small things. After being freed by Tamami as Easter Bunny Purità, she joins her in order to save Easter World together. When she’s Easter Bunny Brave, she gains increased punching abilities and her finisher is “Easter Bunny Punch”. Her theme color is Green.
Keiko Ootake/Easter Bunny Love (大竹恵子/イースターバニーラブ) - Keiko is a 15-year-old teenage girl who moved to Diamond City when she was 8-years-old. Tamami and Youko were the first friends Keiko made after transferring to Diamond Academy. After witnessing Tamami using magic to fight villainous hares together with Youko, she began join so they can fight together. Her motivation for becoming a Easter Heroine was "to save her mother from cancer”. When she’s Easter Bunny Love, she gains increased strength and her finisher is “Easter Bunny Suplex”. Her theme color is Pink.
Yuuko Tachibana/Easter Bunny Beauty (立花裕子/イースターバニービューティー) - Yuuko is a 14-year-old teenage girl who, like Keiko, moved to Diamond City when she was 9-years-old and also transferred to Diamond Academy. Alongside her studies, she is active in the entertainment industry as a popular teenage idol belonging to Rabio Enterprises. While juggling her entertainment activities, she is steadily progressing with her schoolwork, and has passed school exams many times by reading many books, making her the girl genius of the group. When she’s Easter Bunny Beauty, she gains increased speed and her finisher is “Easter Bunny Lightning”. Her theme color is Blue.
Hana Kashiwagi/Easter Bunny Smarty (柏木花/イースターバニースマーティ) - Hana is a 13-year-old teenage girl who was born in New York, USA to a first-class designer mother, Kanon, and a lensman father, Masaru. From the age of 6, she lived with her family in Diamond City. Being the only Japanese-American of the group, she loves to teach her fellow members and friends many English words and loves to say English words a lot. While she’s really good at English and her studies, she’s not very good at Japanese. When she’s Easter Bunny Smarty, she gains increased stamina and her finisher is “Easter Bunny Shield Bash”. Her theme color is Orange.
Haruka Kamado/Easter Bunny Magica (竈門ハルカ/イースターバニーマギカ) - Haruka is a 13-year-old teenage girl who’s the muscle of the group. Being a tomboy, she’s got the most powerful magic out of all the Easter Heroines. She’s also an expert on tai chi and seems to be quite skilled with it in or not in battle, due to her mother being a tai chi teacher and her father being a yoga instructor. Whenever she feels stressed, she uses zen as a coping mechanism. When she’s Easter Bunny Magica, she gains increased reflexes and gains superhuman hearing, hearing even the most faintest of sounds whenever she hears someone in danger. Her finisher is “Easter Bunny Soundwave” and her theme color is Yellow.
Yui Hinata/Easter Bunny Frendi (日向ゆい/イースターバニーフレンディ) - Yui is a young 11-year-old girl who’s the youngest of the group. In her first appearance, she was considered to be cold-hearted and refused to cooperate with the other Easter Heroines as she can take the villainous Hares herself. As the series progresses however, she soon starts to warm up towards the Easter Heroines and shows a much kinder side towards them. It is later revealed that she’s the princess of Easter World before fleeing to Earth from the villainous Hares and was soon adopted by the Hinata family, giving her the name “Yui Hinata”. When she’s Easter Bunny Frendi, she gains laser vision, ice breath, the ability to summon energy projectiles and flight, making her the only member to have the most powers. Her finisher is “Easter Bunny Freeze” and her theme color is Purple.

Supporting Characters[]

Mr. and Mrs. Gyokuryuu - Tamami's absent, yet loving parents who are way too busy with work as they usually are barely seen with only silhouettes being seen mainly. It’s possible that they’re working overseas and trusts Tamami to take good care of herself, unaware that her daughter has a secret identity.
Mr. and Mrs. Ishikawa - Youko’s peppy, yet affection-spoiling parents who love their dear daughter to bits…well, too much. They often encourage her to make some new friends through rhyming cheers. Although they like to give her what she wants, they still care for her nonetheless.
Mr. Ootake - Keiko's helpful, yet single father who runs a cafe called “The Egg Hunt” where the Easter Heroines like shopping and eating at. Sometimes, he gives the group, especially his daughter, advice when they’re dealing with a tough situation.
Mrs. Tachibana - Yuuko’s strict, yet kind single mother who doubles as her manager during her idol activities. She wants nothing more than her daughter to be successful and to pursue her career while being good enough to earn a scholarship.
Kanon Kashiwagi and Masaru Kashiwagi - Hana’s very busy and grouchy parents from New York, USA who are focused a lot more on their job than anything else. Despite their grouchy behavior, they love their daughter to bits and refuse to see anything bad happening to her.
Mr. Kamado and Mrs. Kamado - Haruka’s athletic parents who run a dojo who train students in to doing tai chi. They adore their daughter so much that they have faith that she’ll be as strong as them. Ever since they found out that Haruka’s been bullied, they decided to help her out to deal with them.
Mrs. Hinata and Mr. Hinata - Yui’s adoptive parents who found her alone in the streets during a rainy day and decided to take her in as their adopted daughter, not knowing that she comes from another world and is royalty.

Antagonists[]

The Hare-mada - A group of villainous hares who want to cause chaos and havoc all over the Easter World and Earth as there are numerous types of hares with personalities and usually wield comedic weapons. Their members include:
- Hopper Hare - An evil and chaos-loving hare who enjoys causing disorder and messiness in the Easter World and wishes to do the same for Earth with his weapon of choice: The Egg Staff. Only to be stopped by the various members of the Easter Heroines.
- Doctor Jumper - An insane and hammy rabbit mad scientist who works for the Hare-Mada as he often creates mad experiments filled with gadgets, gizmos, gears and even high-tech equipment like “The Benedict Bodysuit”. That’s until he gets defeated by the Easter Heroines, much to his anger.
- Beauty Bunbun - A seductive and manipulative bunny temptress who works for the Hare-Mada and uses her seduction and illusionary powers to distract the Easter Heroines with powers coming from her Scrambled Belt.

Czar Spelle - A giant magician monster who’s an expert at throwing razor sharp playing cards and casting magical spells with his weapon of choice: the wand. He first made an appearance in Episode 11.
