Doraemon is a popular Japanese children's franchise that is created by Fujio F. Fujiko. It has three animes, one for 1973, another for 1979, and the current one for 2005. It aired in Japan on TV Asahi, while it aired on Hungama TV and Disney Channel in India.

Although, in 2010, during their rebrand, Nickelodeon India produced and aired a second Hindi dub. This dub had cartoonish voices for the characters and its dub's voice actors had more emotion to the characters than the Hungama/Disney Channel Hindi dub. The characters also spoke more English than in the Hungama/Disney Channel dub. Nickelodeon India dubbed both the 1979 and 2005 animes, and dubbed only the surviving episodes of the 1973 anime.
