Doraemon is a Japanese-American animated series developed and created by TBD. It is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name. It is being produced by Shin-Ei Animation (for characters only), and Snipple Animation and aired on Disney Zoog in 2019.

Changes between the original and the 2019 series

Like the 2005 series, it does have faith to the manga, but it has a lot of changes, including:

• Noby doesn't appear to be as lazy as he is in the previous series, but can be still lazy.
• Tammy isn't as stubborn and strict as she was in the previous series, but is still strict and can rarely ground Noby.
• Tammy works as a principal of Noby's school.
• Noby's dad doesn't appear in the series.
• Like the 2005 series, smoking is not seen. However, there are still adult jokes in the series.

Trivia

• Despite being made in America, it's animation is anime-influenced like its previous cartoons.
• As the previous series was acquired, it is the first Doraemon cartoon to be co-owned by Disney.
  • In addition, it has a Disney logo with the series logo.
• Despite the Japanese cast reprising their respective roles, the English cast were unable to reprise their respective roles, except for Mona Marshall, which she managed to reprise her role as Doraemon.
