Trivia[]
- Charlie Brown Lover 2003 actually made this movie. He doesn't have a YouTube channel, so he's not going to upload it to YouTube.
- The production of Donald began on July 6, 2020 and ended on August 12, 2020.
- This is the third spoof of a movie Charlie Brown Lover 2003 made that other people have made a spoof of before him, the first was The Many Adventures of Yogi Bear and the second was Charlie Brown (Pinocchio).
- This movie was made in honor of Kelly Asbury and Anton Yelchin's memories and the near 20th anniversary of Shrek.
- Charlie Brown Lover 2003 recorded 165 clips for this movie.
- This is Charlie Brown Lover 2003's first, and so far only spoof of a movie that has profanity in it.
- This was Charlie Brown Lover 2003's first movie spoof where neither Charlie Brown nor Yogi Bear is the main protagonist.
- This was Charlie Brown Lover 2003's first movie spoof where Charlie Brown doesn't have a major role.
- This movie was originally going to be called "Owl." Most of the cast was originally going to be different. The cast was originally going to include Owl (Winnie the Pooh) as Shrek, Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore sharing the role as Donkey, Kanga as Dragon, Princess Aruzia (Teddy Ruxpin) as human Fiona, Big Mama (The Fox and the Hound) as ogre Fiona, Tweeg as Lord Farquaad, Teddy Ruxpin as the Magic Mirror, Pinocchio as himself (Disney version), Geppetto as himself (Disney version), Peter Pan as himself (Disney version), Snoopy as Gingy, Roo and Lumpy as two of the Three Little Pigs, Wile Coyote as the Big Bad Wolf, Mickey Mouse, Chuck E. Cheese, and Timothy Q. Mouse as the Three Blind Mice. The only cast members that were originally going to be in the first movie who remain the same are Yogi, Cindy, and Boo Boo as the Three Bears and Piglet as one of the Three Little Pigs.
- Owl didn't play Shrek because Charlie Brown Lover 2003 thought Owl as Shrek was weird. Charlie Brown Lover 2003 chose Donald as Shrek instead because they're both short tempered and they were both arrogant at first and later kind, positive, smart, and selfless. He chose Daisy as ogre Fiona instead of Big Mama because they are mates to Donald and Shrek.
- Princess Aruzia didn't play human Fiona because Aruzia is a minor character in Teddy Ruxpin and Charlie Brown Lover 2003 probably would have played the same clips of her over and over again. Not only that, Fred Flintstone played human Shrek in Donald 2 because they look a lot alike and it makes more sense to have Wilma as human Fiona because they're married to Fred and Shrek. Fred as human Shrek is one of the very few cast members of Donald 2 (originally going to be called "Owl 2") who remain the same as originally planned.
- Eeyore and Pooh didn't play Donkey because Charlie Brown Lover 2003 liked the idea of Snoopy as Donkey better. Snoopy played Donkey because they're both funny and they both have long ears and they're both the life of the party, that is also why Snoopy didn't play Gingy. Fifi played Dragon instead of Kanga because they're mates to Snoopy and Donkey. Captain Hook played Lord Farquaad instead of Tweeg because they both wear red and they look somewhat alike.
- Piglet plays one of the Three Little Pigs because they're both pigs. It would've made more sense to cast Roo as one of the Dronkeys if Kanga was still playing Dragon, that's part of the reason why Roo didn't play one of the Three Little Pigs. Charlie Brown Lover 2003 thought that the characters playing the other two pigs should be two characters Piglet is close with, and Pooh and Tigger were the characters who came to mind, and that's another part of the reason Pooh and Eeyore didn't play Donkey.
- The Youtuber James Small was originally going to use Alvin and the Chipmunks as the Three Blind Mice in his Shrek spoof but he decided to use Mario, Yoshi, and Luigi as the Three Blind Mice instead. Charlie Brown Lover 2003 decided to use the Chipmunks as the Three Blind Mice instead of Mickey Mouse, Chuck E. Cheese, and Timothy Q. Mouse because he didn't want to let the Chipmunks as the Three Blind Mice go to waste and he loved the idea of the Chipmunks as the Three Blind Mice because they're all rodents. Charlie Brown Lover 2003 still wanted Mickey to be in Donald because Donald's in it so he decided to use Mickey as Gingy because their voices sound somewhat alike.
