Synopsis[]
Setting[]
After an inexplicable event started risking the fabric of reality and time amongst the whole omniverse, Spider-Man, Luke Skywalker, Cinderella, Mickey Mouse and Woody must join forces alongside their allies in order to not only protect their universe but every universe that ever existed. Forming and unlikely alliance, the heroes are also forced to battle familiar enemies who are doing everything in their power to stop them. The catch? They aren't alone.
Plot[]
Story Mode[]
Act One[]
Archivus, a former scientist who destroyed his multiverse after trying to "fix" it by syncing it into a singular timeline, met First Firmament. Wanting a singular universe like him, he gave him powers by turning him into his avatar, becoming The Orderbound. Those events were witnessed by the Watcher, who noticed an alteration in the omniverse. Meanwhile, a mysterious and powerful vortex in the sky suddenly began appearing all over the realities in the omniverse, with Luke, Leia, and Han Solo witnessing the same purple vortex during their visit to Tatooine, Cinderella and Prince Charming looking from their castle as the peasants looked terrified, and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy noticing the vortex while they were having a picnic, with Pluto barking at it. In the Tri-County Area, news about the weird vortex was on the TV with Bonnie's Mom, which was overheard by Woody, who was lying on Bonnie's bed.
Eventually, the mysterious vortex was noticed by the civilians in New York City, who watched it with indifference . While swinging through the city, Spider-Man arrived at the rooftop of a building and managed to notice the vortex as well. Deciding to investigate, Spider-Man swung to the origin, saving many civilians in the process who were being attacked by things coming from the vortex. Eventually, Spider-Man arrived at the scene of the crime, finding weird-looking monsters that he started to fight, noticing they were coming from the vortex , which materialized the enemies that Spider-Man eventually defeated.
After facing a bigger and brute version of the monsters he had just fought , Spider-Man contemplated the danger of the vortex becoming stronger than ever, just to be called by Nick Fury, standing right behind him, who updated him on the situation. Nick Fury told him how the monsters he fought weren't from their dimension. As Spider-Man asked ironically if this meant they were facing another "multiverse fiasco," Fury revealed it was more than that, with the enemies and the vortex originating beyond the multiverse, with those events happening in other dimensions again. Spider-Man asked if that meant Fury was there to give him the instructions to save the day , but Fury told him it was more complicated due to not knowing who or what was responsible for those events, revealing they already had the Avengers and the rest of the heroes of Earth investigating. Spider-Man accepted to lend a hand, with Fury saying that whatever they were facing, they had to stop them fast since if they didn't, New York could disappear off the map.

Trivia[]
- Drake Bell as Spider-Man was the only actor from the previus games who didn't return for this installment and isntesd was replaced by James Arnold Taylor. The reason of thid is becuase of the controversy that surrounded him hakfway trought production.
- Instead of being refered as Miles Morales or Kid Arachnid as previous adaptations character he is referred on the game and in the dlc as Ultimate Spider-Man or Ultimate for short which is also a difference from games such as Marvel's Spider-Man who also referred Miles as just Spider-Man. The reason of this is to show how Miles is Spider-Man and still difference him from Peter and using the "Ultimate" title to differentiate him to show how in the marvel mythos he is the Spider-Man of the Ultimate universe similar to how Miguel O'Hara was Spider-Man of the year 2099.
