Dexter is a 2028 American adventure comedy science fiction film based on the Cartoon Network series Dexter's Laboratory. Produced by Cartoon Network Studios, Sony Pictures Animation and Cartoon Network Films and released by Columbia Pictures.
The film is written and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, whom is the director of Hotel Transylvania, with writer Xavier Shaquille. Candi Milo, Kat Cressida, Kath Soucie, Jeff Bennett and Kimberly Brooks reprise their respective roles, with Tom Kenny and Rob Paulsen co-starring, and Brock Baker as Mandark (replacing Eddie Deezen) and Dee Bradley Baker as Monkey (replacing Frank Welker).
It was released in the United States on July 7, 2028. It received generally positive reviews, and was a box office success, earning $152.8 million worldwide against its $20 million budget.
Taking place after the series, Dexter and Dee Dee goes on an adventure to save their parents from an evil mad scientist.
