Detective Steven and the Twisted Heist is a 2031 comedy-adventure-sci-fi-drama-coming-of-age-mystery-heist animated television movie produced by Cartoon Network Studios.
It was released on August 22, 2031.
Summary[]
Time is running out. The diamond must be captured to be returned to Homeworld. When White Diamond's diamond is stolen by an unknown suspect, Steven and his friends must go on a heist to retrieve the diamond before Homeworld falls into chaos.
Plot[]
While Steven is trying to figure out what movies to watch, he gets a dream that he was a detective and helps everyone in the whole universe. Connie arrives and brought some of the detective movies and he picks "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". While he's watching, he keeps dreaming that he was a detective and helps everyone again, Amethyst comes and Connies explains to her what's going on. Amethyst goes straight to Garnet and Pearl and told them about Steven's dream of being detective, then they decided to take him to the Diamonds.
Steven reunites with Spinel and explains to her about the dreams of being detective, she takes them to Blue Diamond first. Blue Diamond teaches Steven to breathe in and breathe out so that some imagining characters disappear. Next, he meets Yellow Diamond and teaches him to climb all the way to the ceiling and stay in that spot area, but useless when he falls into the ground. Next he goes to meet White Diamond and starts meditating with her to think of all the things he loves the most, as soon as they were done he leaves then hears White Diamond's scream in pain, he knew something's wrong.
Meanwhile in New Sanfranyorkyo Viktor, Natasha, Pierre and Lorraine are arguing about Mr. Killborne and they had enough of it. Natasha, Doug, and Mike are visiting John Killborne and he shows everyone some footages of Steven Universe and one footage of Grotto. As soon as the footage is finished, Natasha, Doug, and Mike left and John Killborne calls back Andy.
Meanwhile back at Homeworld, Steven goes to see the Diamond to see what was going on, but they told him that they had no idea what happened to White Diamond, they explain to him that White Diamond had disappeared for no reason, Steven is promised to get her back, and decides to take all the Pebbles. Steven and the Crystal Gems came back to Beach City and show them everything they had, Steven is grew tired of all this and decides to take a nap, then he gets a call from Spinel which Connie borrowed and explains to him that she notice that the Diamonds are upset because of White Diamond's disappearances, Steven decided to name all the pebbles, Pedro, Pablo, Pandora, Pierce, and Pike after Spinel named the two pebbles name Perry and Payton. Later that night Steven dreamt that he was in an empty room and discovers that all the gems were shattered, but he suddenly realizes that those are the Crystal Gems and the Pebbles, then a mysterious figure came out of the shadows and reveals himself to be Pink Steven, Steven's evil clone, Pink Steven claims that he kills all of his friends and wanted to kill all the gems in the world just like how he did it to Jasper and White Diamond, then he throws him into a deep dark chasm as Steven wakes up from that dream, he suddenly discovers that he's pink and he doesn't anyone to see this, suddenly he starts to inflate up to the air, the Crystal Gems and the Pebbles show up and saw the whole thing and the Crystal Gems fuse themselves in order to save Steven and spins him like a Basketball and shoots, she's score! Steven was back to normal and was sent back to bed. The next morning Steven and his friends decided to take the pebbles to CN City and reunited with K.O. and his friends, they explain to them what happened to White Diamond and his pink powers while K.O. freaks out and hid behind Enid.
At Toontown, LA, Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant are chasing down Smartass who took Mickey's lost jewels, until suddenly Smartass falls into a trap and was sent to jail and Roger and Eddie give the jewel back to Mickey Mouse. As soon as they get back home, they put on the news and then Roger calls his friend Mr. John Killborne and told him about a stolen diamond. Roger and Eddie arrived at the airport and takes on an airplane to get to New Sanfranyorkyo and watch some performance and watch some movies.
Back at Beach City, Steven fell into despair that White Diamond is gone forever for no reason and the Crystal Gems promised to get her back. Later that night Steven had another dream where he was in an empty room and he hears someone calling for help, then he sees Pink Steven with White Diamond as he runs extremely fast while Steven tries to catch up to them, but he falls into a deep chasm once again. As he woke up from a dream, he turns pink and started to grow worse as the Crystal Gems came and saw the whole thing, they take him to see his father and he freaks out about this, Garnet suggests that they should go back to CN City and one person who could help Steven, and the person is non other then Trickshot. At CN City, Steven convinces Trickshot to help him out to get rid of his powers, things get worse when he's started to inflated again, as he floats all the way up, K.O. and Jasper fuse themselves into Kasper in order to save Steven, when they got him back down, he tells everyone that everything they helped him isn't working, Steven and his friends return home after everyone helped him out.
Back at Beach City, he was hopeless after all the things have come to him, he decides to be alone and watch television for awhile, when suddenly he got a call from someone who he watch before which were Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant themselves, they told him about the diamond that was stolen, Steven realizes that it was actually White Diamond, they invited him to come visit them at New Sanfranyorkyo, the same place that they went to the tournament, he goes to tell his friends and some other people at CN City, then he went to Homeworld to find Spinel crying after White Diamond's disappearance, he convinces her to come back to New Sanfranyorkyo and team up with those guys he watched from television, then she agrees to go with him back to New Sanfranyorkyo along with the others, they arrived at the plane as it took off and started headed towards New Sanfranyorkyo.
Many hours later they arrived back at New Sanfranyorkyo that seems to be back to normal as they begin to explore around the city once again. As soon as they were gone, Mage the sneaky raccoon appears in the airport as a stowaway and attempts to make a scheme to steal everything, first he catches Randy to distract them. Randy Betancourt introduce himself and tells everyone to go eat, Mage shows up to Randy telling he did a lousy job so he hires him and he'll do everything for himself. Meanwhile Steven and the gang are having some dinner at the diner and enjoying themselves, Mage was nearby the diner when suddenly he was caught by Trickshot and his friends, realizing that he's responsible for all this madness, then they started to chase after him, but he was surrounded by K.O. and the others, he orders Jasper to flush him into the toilet and she did. Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang introduce themselves and ask them why they're here in New Sanfranyorkyo, Steven tells them everything about White Diamond's disappearances and John Killborne has invited them to come here, then Charlie Brown and the others decided to go with them and help them out look for White Diamond and promise to bring her back as they begin to go to hotel and rest there for a while until later at night.
They arrived at the cafeteria in the hotel where they reunited SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, they decided to go with them and help them out to look for White Diamond herself. Mr. Krabs then hands out Krabby Patties to everyone in the room as they eat them, then they decided to go to the lounge to watch a movie until John arrives to pick them up. While everyone's watching a movie, John Killborne arrives at the hotel and introduce himself to Steven and the gang, he was so glad to meet him for the very first time, so does Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant, Steven introduce them to the gang and John Killborne claims that he has brought them here because of White Diamond's disappearances and was surprised to see his old friend Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star, he then takes them to his office and get to meet Andy TBA
