Detective Pikachu: The Second Case, also known as Detective Pikachu 2: The Second Case or Detective Pikachu 2 is an American 3D 2023 live-action/computer-animated comedy-drama urban fantasy mystery film directed by Ryan Coogler with Rob Letterman, the director of the first film, returning to produce and write. It is a sequel to 2019's Pokémon Detective Pikachu. It will be produced by Legendary Entertainment and The Pokémon Company and is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures worldwide except in Japan, which will be distributed by Toho. It wil be released on April 7, 2023.
Plot[]
Set a whole year after the events of Detective Pikachu, Tim learns that his father is suddenly back inside Pikachu, despite being split up for a year. As a result, they attempt to figure out who is responsible for this, while investigating mysterious talking Pokémon.
