Daron Leah Nefcy is the creator, writer, and co-executive producer of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. She is the second female to create an animated series for Disney Channel, the first being Sue Rose, the creator of Pepper Ann, and the first female to create an animated production for Disney XD.
