Daisy-Head Mayzie (also known as Dr. Seuss' Daisy-Head Mayzie) is a 2022 3D American computer-animated musical family film produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Based on the book Daisy-Head Mayzie by Dr. Seuss, it is the The fourth adaptation of the book (following the 1995 animated television special). It is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2022 by Sony Pictures Releasing under its Columbia Pictures label. The film is directed by Arna Selznick and written by Jill Culton. It marks Sony Pictures Animation's first Dr. Seuss film adaptation.It stars the voices of Hayley Faith Negrin, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Idina Menzel, Eden Sher, Blake Shelton, Ryan Corr, Peter Dinklage Jack McBrayer, Will Arnett, and Ed Sheeran.
Plot[]
The book is about a 12-year-old warmhearted schoolgirl named Mayzie who one day suddenly sprouts a bright white daisy from her head. It causes alarm in her classroom, family, and town, until an agent makes her a celebrity. The Cat in the Hat who serves as the narrator to this story helps Mayzie to understand her problem and persuade her to go back home. The book has a mini-song titled Daisy-Head Mayzie which her classmates chant.

On January 2020, Sony Pictures Animation greenlit one of Dr. Seuss books Daisy-Head Mayzie to the big screen from the director of The Most Magnificent Thing, Arna Selznick and the writers of Abominable, Jill Culton.
