+ | Plot: With Hal Jordan dead, and John Stewart protecting Earth, the number Green Lanterns seem to be thinning. Eventually, two green rings are dispatched to Earth, revealing humans are naturally skilled at becoming Green Lanterns. In Tijuana, a struggling artist named Kyle Rayner (Xolo Marideuna) is approached by one of these rings. Meanwhile, a woman named Jessica Cruz (Eiza Gonzalez) is about to be killed for witnessing a murder, when the second power ring forcefully attaches itself to her finger and transports her to Oa. There, she meets Kyle, and the two demand they be safely returned back to Earth. However, they are urged by Kilowog and Tomar Re to at least go through the training. Meanwhile on Earth, Sinestro is broken out of imprisonment by a grief-stricken Carol Ferris, escaping the planet on a spacecraft and setting a course for the planet of Nekron. |
