Cuck is an action-drama-dystopian anime miniseries based on the movie Cuck (2019), and is made by Production I.G. (the studio behind Psycho Pass).
Pilot Description[]
When a frustrated loner gains popularity as an Alt-Right vlogger, the online echo chamber turns his fears into a deadly rage. Ronnie, a lonely community college biology dropout in South Carolina, is obsessed with gun photos, homophobic memes, and an anti semitic cartoon he watches every morning called “You Versus Jew”, which uses the nose jew meme and is similar to “Spy Versus Spy”.
Ronnie befriends a cowgirl escort named Betsy during a livestreamed gun show on his favorite chat site, Slob.ai (parody of Gab.ai). Betsy, who lives in Florida, shares her bizarre obsession with frogs online - that is, Pepe memes, fried frog legs, her various illegal exotic pet frogs (because free trade) and of course, how chemicals in water turn frogs gay. Ronnie eventually befriends this girl in the comments section of an InfoForks news livestream.
Meanwhile, a nearby native seminole family near Betsy’s trailer are worried about her. They have arrangements to have the FBI inspect Betsy’s gun-filled trailer and her internet history, but Betsy threatens the seminole family by calling them “redskin savages“ and she regularly spreads dangerous rhetoric against native americans on Slob.ai.
