Counterfeit Cat is an upcoming 2017 British-American-Canadian 3D live-action/computer-animated science fiction-comedy film based on the Disney XD original series created by Andrew Lavery and based on the MGM cartoon created by Tex Avery. It was produced by Atomic Cartoons and Wildseed Studios with the animation production by Aardman Animations and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Inc. on February 9, 2017 and it will be released on Blu-Ray, Digital HD, and DVD in June 7, 2017 and it's made by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. And the second Movie Based on a Disney XD show.

In December 2013, It was reported that Walt Disney Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer are in negotiations with the co-creators of the Wildseed Studios series Counterfeit Cat, Ben Marsaud and Sarah Mattingly for a feature film based on the show, co-written and produced by Sarah Marringly alongside Cristina Fiumara, John Toll, Justin M. Johns and Hans Zimmer.
Music[]
In October 2015, Hans Zimmer was hired to compose the film's score. In addition to his score, the film will re-use original sound-bytes from the show composed by Alex Griggs and it will be soundtrack available on Walt Disney Records.
