Trivia

  • This is the second Howler direct-to-video film, after Howler: Attack of the Shadow Army, which released 8 years before this.
  • This film has premiered on Cartoon Network on June 19th, 2020.
  • According to Wright and Hamilton, before the crossover movie was announced on the "Howler 10th Anniversary" press release, it was planned since late 2015.
  • According to both Oscar and Daniel, there will be things you'll see in this that would later appear in the main series. For example...
    • This introduces Liz the Lizard, who became Lex's best friend.
    • This also introduces Gina the Shrew, who became Tommy's potential love interest.
      • The developers admitted they purposely casted Hynden, who already voices Sara and some on-offs in the series, as her due to the fact that they wanted to replicate their chemistry on the 2003 Teen Titans series, with the main difference of Scott voicing the immature comic relief and Hynden the smart one.
