Chronicles Of A Teenager Robot 1.0 (十代のロボット少女の歴代史: 序曲 Jūdai no robotto shōjo no rekidaishi: Jokyoku lit. "Chronicles Of A Teenage Robot Girl: Prelude") is an upcoming 2022 anime film written and directed by Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla), based in the cartoon series My Life As A Teenage Robot created by Rob Renzetti. It will be the first of a Trilogy of films which will reboot the afore mentioned cartoon, with art by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.
Plot[]
After losing her daughter in a tragic accident, a scientist named Dr. Nora Wakeman creates a robot with the aspect of a teenager based in the girl; however, the scientist died before being finished and ready to the maximum her work. 100 years later, she was found by a scientist named Prof. Cain, who took care of the girl as her daughter, who now has inside her the soul of the child, believing she's a true human, trying to make new friends like a boy and his little brother, and going to school like a normal teenager. However, after realizing she has abilities beyond the humankind, she tries to search her true place in the world, and is now involved in an existencial dilemma about if she's a human or a machine. However, when a robotic empire known as the Cluster Prime Empire menaces the Earth, is now her duty protecting the humankind while she tries to decide if being human or machine, and, what does means to being human actually.
