The Chaotix (also known as the Chaotix Crew and Team Chaotix) are a group which appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a trio of detectives-for-hire consisting of Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon and Charmy Bee who run the Chaotix Detective Agency.
Despite being a goofy bunch and not as involved in the ongoing world-spanning conflicts as often as Sonic the Hedgehog and his other allies are, Team Chaotix is nonetheless a competent trio when the need arises, and are always ready to lend a hand in the face of danger.

An anthropomorphic crocodile and the current leader and head honcho of the Chaotix Detective Agency, which he founded with Espio and Charmy. Large and imposing with a kind heart beneath his scaly exterior, Vector is ready to take any job that pays, but will always help those in need for free, a charitable nature leaving his agency perpetually short on money.
Known for his great love of music, Vector's trademark is a pair of headphones which he always listens to. Despite his rough appearance and sometimes rude manners indicating otherwise, Vector is a capable detective and natural leader with a clear, deductive mind who will always see cases through until he deems them solved.

A anthropomorphic chameleon, who mainly serves as an intelligent ninja warrior and a member of the Chaotix Detective Agency. There, he works together with Vector and Charmy to solve whatever cases they are given, where he puts his skills to good use. While initially a hothead when introduced, Espio has since become a calm, soft-spoken, serious, and disciplined person whose wariness and soulful character makes him a vital member of his team, and balances out the foolishness of his friends.

An extremely hyperactive anthropomorphic bee with a big heart. He is the youngest member and co-founder of the Chaotix Detective Agency. Charmy first appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog manga, but was later used for the games, in which he first debuted in Knuckles' Chaotix.
While Charmy is always hyperactive, bee-brained, loud, immature and often annoys his teammates a lot, his tracking skills are nonetheless an invaluable assist to the Chaotix Detective Agency and a crucial part of their team. As such, both Vector and Espio treat Charmy as their equal.

- The Chaotix appear in James Cameron's Sonic Cinematic Universe, featured as the titular protagonists in their own trilogy (Chaotix, Chaotix: Rise of the Iron Queen, and Chaotix: Between Dark and Light) within the franchise and as supporting characters in Sonic World Run, and all played by their voice actors through voice and motion capture. Along with the traditional members Vector (Winston Duke), Espio (Oscar Isaac), Charmy (Max Charles), members also include Julie-Su the Echidna (Zoe Saldana), Mighty the Armadillo (Jay Baruchel), Ray the Flying Squirrel (Neil Patrick Harris), Knuckles the Echidna (Michael B. - The Chaotix appear in the Sonic: Rebirth series, with Vector being voiced by Khary Payton, Espio by Andrew Kishino and Charmy by Tara Strong.
- The Chaotix appear in the Paramount+ animated series Vector and Espio, with the titular duo voiced by Jeffrey Wright and Simu Liu respectively. Charmy also appears, with Colleen O'Shaughnessey reprising her role.
- The Chaotix appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog cinematic universe. Vector is voiced by Tom Kenny, Espio is voiced by Seth Green, and Charmy is voiced by Anna Faris, who also voices Tails in the films. They first appear in Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble where they help Tails and the others on their mission to free Sonic from Robotnik's wrath.
