Casper: The New Animated Series is an animated TV series which is a spinoff to The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper.
Plot[]
Casper goes on adventures with his new friends, such as Wendy, Poil, Spooky and other people he meets.
Characters[]
- Casper McFadden (voiced by Nicolas Cantu), a lonely ghost who was originally a 12-year-old boy who died from a pneumonia attack. He spends most of his afterlife in Whipstaff dealing with his ghouling uncles' antics while hoping to find a friend. He finds it with Kathleen "Kat" Harvey, while also falling in love with her.
- Stretch (voice role reprised by Joe Nipote), the leading member of the Ghostly Trio and one of Casper's uncles.
- Stinkie (voiced by Bill Farmer after he replaced Joe Alaskey after he died), the second member of the Ghostly Trio as well as one of Casper's uncles.
- Fatso (voice role reprised by Brad Garrett) the third member of the Ghostly Trio as well as one of Casper's uncles.
- Spooky (voiced by Tom Kenny), Casper's cousin who wants to scare people.
- Poil (voiced by Cristina Pucelli), Spooky's girlfriend.
- Meghann Lynn Peterson (voiced by Ashley Johnson), a young girl who is the only one who can see ghosts.
- Kimmy Espenshade (voiced by Hynden Walch), a ghost of a 23-year-old girl who is shy, sweet and friendly. She died from blood loss due to broken bones after falling off a cliff.
- Tatiana Drawer (voiced by Grace Rolek), a ghost of a 14-year-old girl who happens to be a prankster. She is also an overly enthusiastic spirit who died from leukemia when she was about 14 years old in 1999. She loves being friends and is also friendly.
- Vanessa (voiced by Cristina Pucelli) is a ghost after she died from a suicidal demise. After her 17-year-old brother dies from heart failure, she dies from falling off a cliff at the age of 16. Vanessa is very lonely. She tries to be friends with someone but he or she gets scared, revealing that Vanessa is a ghost and runs off. Vanessa is also friends with Tatiana and Kimmy, especially Casper, Poil, Spooky and Meghann Lynn.
- Serenia (voiced by Grey DeLisle), a ghost of a woman who died in a car crash. She is very mean and ruthless, but somehow tomboyish.
- Anneliese (voiced by Mae Whitman) is a 15-year-old ghost who loves her phone.
