Cartoon Cartoons: The Movie is a 2017 American animated fantasy-comedy film. It is based on the collective name used by Cartoon Network for their original animated television series originally aired between 1995 and 2003 and produced in majority by Hanna-Barbera and/or Cartoon Network Studios.

The Cartoon Cartoons must join forces to save their city after it is overtaken by Jackal Lantern, his wife Petunia Clark, his goofy cartoon henchmen Terry and Berry and Jackal's own dastardly cartoon baddies The Missed Fits.

Plot

The Cartoon Cartoon stars (notably: Dexter, The Powerpuff Girls, The Eds, Johnny Bravo, Courage, Cow & Chicken, Grim and Billy and Mandy, Weasel, Hector Con Carne, Robot Jones and others, C-Toons for short), the most popular toons in their town, Cartoon Cartoon World, are successfully keeping Cartoon Cartoon Fridays relevant for people everywhere. However, a pumpkin headed jackal tailed man named Jackal Lantern, a rejected toon once all 15 Cartoon Cartoon spots had already been filled, seeks revenge for being forgotten and one day unleashes his own cartoon creations called the Missed Fits--a group of toons that are an exact copy or the exact opposite of the C-Toons-- to overrun the town, threatening the other residents and causing the C-Toons to flee to Has-Been Island. Along with his loyal but dimwitted henchmen, the equally pumpkin headed Terry and Berry and his also deceitful tulip wife Petunia Clark, Jackal devises his plan to be recognized by the world by taking over Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and replacing it with The Jackal Lantern Show (a Saturday Night Live-esque show). With their need for being relevant and the very fate of Cartoon Cartoon World in jeopardy, the C-Toons must work together to stop Jackal, reclaim their land, save the residents and take back Cartoon Cartoon Fridays before Jackal and his gang's shady ways wipes them out of existence.
