Captain N and the New Game Masters is a 2014-2016 animated action-adventure comedy science fiction slice of life television series that serves as the reboot of Captain N: The Game Master, and takes place a few years after the original series. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic creator Lauren Faust serves as the series's showrunner, with Shea Fontana as the writer. It is a collaboration with Hasbro, Disney and Nintendo, and henceforth, the series airs on both Discovery Family and Disney Channel in the U.S. In Canada, the series airs on YTV.
Premise[]
Kevin, now 18, decides to revisit Videoland, and finds out even if the city has changed a bit, two of his old friends are here (Mega Man and Kid Icarus, now going by the name Pit). So he decided to move in to stay with his buddies, old and new, all while forming an elite team consisting of him, Mega Man, Pit, and two new members Kirby and Ash Ketchum, to protect the land from the forces of darkness.
In the third season, the team encounters an exhausted hedgehog and his sleepy baby fairy. The hedgehog introduces himself as Sonic and requests the help of the team to rescue his kidnapped fairy friends.

Kevin Keene[]
A boy from the U.S in California who found out a city lives in his own NES. Very proud and a bit of a klutz, he is very kindhearted and determined to help others. He is voiced by Greg Cipes.
Pit (formerly known as Kid Icarus)[]
An angel boy who is equipped with the power of flight and light arrows. He is voiced by Kathleen Barr.
Mega Man[]
A robot created by Dr. Light. He is voiced by Erin Matthews.
Kirby[]
A pink puffball who is somehow an intellectual nerd and somewhat of an athletic genius. She is voiced by Tara Strong.
Ash Ketchum[]
A Pokemon trainer from Pallet Town in the Kanto region whose goal is to become a Pokemon Master. He is voiced by Sarah Natochenny.
Sonic the Hedgehog[]
An anthropomorphic hedgehog from Angel Island who joins the main cast in Season 3. He is voiced by Roger Craig Smith.
Duke[]
He is Kevin's dog who previously went with him to Videoland. He is voiced by Frank Welker.
