In the near future, cars can be powered by a CPU processor that can replace the traditional car motors. This would mainly allow the movement of the car, and lead to a more ecologic and efficient car.
The car's CPU
The traditional engine of a car (be it a sports car, a citycar or even a "recycled" old car) would be replaced by a CPU (central processing unit) which is able to do, among other things:
- Operate the motor, allowing the car's movement. This can be achieved using the CPU's function to operate the motor's mechanism used to move the car.
- Operate some display data (such as the mileage counter), as well as the digital radio and the cd player.
It could be powered by solar-charged batteries located beneath the car's roof. Charging the batteries can be achieved by photovoltaic cells located on the car's roof connected to the batteries themselves.
