Buster the Flying Fox and Friends is a French-Canadian/American animated comedy series, created by Christie Crawford. It premiered on CBC in 1986 after a rerun of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. The show is produced by Monster Films (renamed Dimp World in 1989), Chuckles Productions, and The Disco Studio.

- When the character Buster the Flying Fox was up for bids by Christie Crawford in the United States in 1985, The Cartoon Workshop, founded by employees who formerly worked with Hanna-Barbera, produced a pilot episode for their own concept. Crawford later rejected The Cartoon Workshop's bid and introduced his cartoon to America in 1987.
