Bubble Guppies is an upcoming live-action/animated musical comedy film based on the children's television series of the same name created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull, distributed by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. The film stars the show's regular voice cast alongside Kevin Michael Richardson and Neil Patrick Harris, along with Ray Romano, David Schwimmer, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Johnny Knoxville, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Jeremy Irons and Tim Curry in live-action roles. Taking place after the sixth season of the series, the film follows the titular merperson preschoolers as they attempt to return to their undersea world of Bubbletucky after they are sent into the real world by the mysterious Serpent.
Premise[]
When their entire world gets turned on its' head at the hands of the Serpent, the Bubble Guppies--Molly, Gil, Goby, Deema, Oona, Nonny and Zooli--find themselves caught in his crosshairs. The situation is made even more chaotic when he sends them into the real world after a futile attempt at trying to catch him and Mr. Grouper is taken as he is viewed as an accomplice of a presumed disaster. With the help of some new friends, including the Octopus Squad, a traffic worker who has hit rock bottom and the eccentric Wild Pete, the Guppies must put their preschool skills to the test if they are ever to put a stop to the Serpent and return to their world...with help from the audience of course.

- Taylor Kaplan as Molly: A bubbly human guppy girl, the leader of the Bubble Guppies and Gil's best friend. She has tan skin, long pink hair, and brown eyes. She wears a cadet and turquoise blue striped tail and bikini. Brianna Gentilella provides her singing voice.
- Quinn Breslin as Gil: A silly human guppy boy and Molly's best friend. He has a tendency to get easily scared. He has fair skin, blue sideswept hair, and blue eyes. He wears a green and forest green tail. Brody Bett provides his singing voice.
- Josiah Gaffney as Goby: A human guppy boy with an imaginative personality. He is also good friends with Gil. He has dark skin, curly navy blue hair, and brown eyes. He wears a blue and purple tail.
- Zoe Glick as Deema: A human guppy girl with a wild imagination and the jokester of the Guppies. She has fair skin, large curly blonde hair, and blue eyes. She wears an orange tail and bikini with sunglow polka dots and orange earrings.
- Mia Lynn Bangunan as Oona: A human guppy girl with a sweet personality. She has pale skin, purple pigtailed hair, and brown eyes. She wears a purple and dark purple tail and a pink star clip in her hair.
- AJ Kane as Nonny: A human guppy boy with an intelligent personality. Despite not smiling a lot, he is the most polite and mature member of the group. He is also Oona's best friend. He is smart and helps Deema pronounce words and helps his friends answer their questions. He has fair skin, short stubby orange hair, and green eyes. He wears a green and kiwi green striped tail and blue scuba glasses.
- Leah Janiver as Zooli: A human guppy girl and the new member of the group who is an animal expert. She has dark skin, curly purple hair in a bun, and dark brown eyes. She wears a magenta and pink swirled tail and a blue seashell headband in her hair.
- Neil Patrick Harris as Bradley: the leader of the Octopus Squad and Lloyd's younger brother despite being much smarter out of the two. He has a straight man personality. Tara Strong voices a younger Bradley.
- Kevin Michael Richardson as Mr. Grouper: A big orange goldfish and the guppies' teacher. He respects the kids' imaginations, ideas, and suggestions. A prominent feature is that he can also change his natural orange skin into a wide variety of different colors and patterns. Chris Phillips provides his singing voice.
- Frank Welker as Bubble Puppy: Gil's pet puppy and best friend. He has orange and white fur and a green collar with a yellow fish license.
- David Cross as Lloyd: the explosive expert of the Octopus Squad and Bradley's not-too-bright older brother. A running gag is that he tends to freeze like a statue for eight seconds when startled.
- Kat Dennings as Malena: the technical expert of the Octopus Squad, the only female of the group and Bradley's love interest. Natalie Palamides voices a younger Malena.
- Harvey Guillen as Nori: the brains of the Octopus Squad and good friend of Bradley and Lloyd.
- Joe Manganiello as Benny: the strategy expert of the Octopus Squad. He has a method where he acts like an army general to hype up the others before a mission. He also likes to imitate the mission briefing scenes from Mission: Impossible as he believes it can boost morale.
- Vince Vaughn as Larry: the muscle of the Octopus Squad and Xander's best friend.
- "Weird Al" Yankovic as Xander: the escape expert and goofball of the Octopus Squad and Larry's best friend. He is shown to be proficient at playing the accordion.
- Matthew Lillard as Vox: the inventor of the Octopus Squad.
- Jordan Friedman as the Little Fish: A group of small orange goldfish.
- Lacey Chabert as Farimo: A young wolf who is Wild Pete's partner.
- Seth MacFarlane as Constantine: A hermit crab who serves as a foil to the Octopus Squad.
- Richard Horvitz as Tibby: A neurotic and timid sea turtle who befriends the Bubble Guppies while secretly working with the Serpent. He later defects from him and sides with the Guppies in the end as an act of redemption, being fed up with his master's abuse and having learned the importance of true friendship.
- Tress MacNeille as Lorianna: Bradley and Lloyd's single mother who is a therapist.

- Ray Romano as Thomas Christopher "Tommy" Johansson: A street-smart traffic worker who is struggling with life after losing his mother at a young age. Upon meeting and getting to know the Guppies, he comes to grips with how to make his life better. TBA portrays a young Tommy.
- David Schwimmer as Roberto "Bobby" Rodriguez: A zoologist and Susie's elder brother. His personality is based loosely on Ross Geller of the sitcom Friends, who Schwimmer also portrayed. TBA portrays a young Bobby.
- Sarah Michelle Gellar as Susanna "Susie" Rodriguez: A zoologist and Bobby's younger sister. She and Bobby have known Tommy since their kindergarten days, as shown in a photograph. TBA portrays a young Susie.
- Johnny Knoxville as Jimmy "The Jet" Blowout / The Serpent: A stunt performer who gained snakelike abilities after a stunt gone wrong, which he blames on the Bubble Guppies. His new form has turned him into a half-human half-reptile hybrid. He has also been a longtime enemy of the Octopus Squad since his transformation. Knoxville also voices the character in his snake form.
- Robert Downey Jr. as Charles "Charlie" Littleman: A highly successful businessman and a childhood friend of Tommy. He is based on Downey's character Tony Stark from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- Anne Hathaway as Betty Finch: An influencer and good friend of Tommy, Charlie and the Rodriguez siblings. She later becomes Tommy's girlfriend.
- Maya Rudolph as Roberta "Berta" Rodriguez: Bobby and Susie's mother.
- Ed Helms as Jeremy Rodriguez: Bobby and Susie's wisecracking father.
- Simon Helberg as Deno: An on and off taxi driver.
- Carl Lumbly as Herman Johansson: Tommy's estranged father after his mother's passing. Despite being apart from his son for years, he still cares deeply for him.
- Leslie Uggams as Tina Johansson: A baker and the late mother of Tommy who is shown twice in flashbacks.
- Jeremy Irons as Javier Rollnero: A high-strung theater director and one of Tommy's neighbors.
- Tim Curry as Wild Pete: A jungle-like man who has lived in the city since his hunting days. As a result, he has been cited as an urban legend. He lives in a cave on the far side of the neighborhood. He wears a lion's mane, a long red robe with orange spirals and blue crocs. His performance has been based on Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as Curry's own role as Pennywise from Stephen King's IT.

Music[]
The songs will be composed by series regular Michael Rubin while the film's score will be composed by Dario Marianelli. Two of the score tracks are named "Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It" and "Who Are They Talking To?". A few pop songs will also be sprinkled in.
