Braindead is a 2019 horror comedy and remake of Peter Jackson's 1992 film of the same name. The film is much more realistic and darker than the original, is set in Los Angeles, and has enhanced character development.
Plot[]
Simon, an accident prone 23 year old who lives with his widowed mother, forcefully yet willingly falls in love with the local convenience store owner's daughter Camilla. While Simon's mom is ease dropping on them, she is savagely bitten by a Sumartran Rat-Monkey and soon becomes a zombie, now it's up to Simon to stop the infection from spreading.
