In the years 2000 and 2001, an alternate dub of Bob Esponja, the Spanish dub of SpongeBob SquarePants, was produced in Miami by Globecast Hero Productions. Having aired on Telemundo's Nickelodeon block from April 2000 to November 2001, the dub seemed to have been lost at first, with only the voice actors for the main characters having surfaced.
The dub was later revived in 2007, though, with the rest of the series dubbed and airing on MTV Latin America. The dub also airs on Super! as a SAP track.
